Like your favorite clarinetist, this email will be short and sweet.

Got lots of gigs as we head into the heart of fall and beyond. As always, I'll try to update my public performances on my web calendar here, as well as on social media. But there are two ticketed events I wanted to bring to your attention -- one in Baltimore, and one in DC.

Sunday, October 18 -- The Katz Music Center

7000 Rockland Hills Drive, Baltimore, MD 21209

7 to 8:30 pm

This is a new(ish) venue, with a distinctly Jewish focus, which makes sense, since it's located within the building of the Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah Hebrew Congregation. But the concerts are open to all and it's a really nice space!

I'll be playing klezmer, jazz, and swing, along with pianist Sean Lane, bassist Bob Abbott, and drummer Joey Antico. Tickets are $25 at the door, but you can save $5 by getting your ticket right now online!

...and a little further down the road...

Tuesday, November 17 -- Blues Alley

1073 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, 1st Floor, Washington, DC 20007

Shows at 7 and 9:30 pm

A return visit to Washington DC's premier venue for live jazz, the legendary Blues Alley! And this time, it'll be another show celebrating my new(ish) album, "Clarinet, Without a Net," featuring an all-star band of musicians who played on the album with me -- Marcel Penzes on trombone, Erin Snedecor on cello, Ahren Bucheister on acoustic guitar, dobro, and mandolin, Eliot Seppa on double bass, and Haroon Alam on tablas.

There are two shows -- one at 7 and a late show at 9:30 pm. Last time I headlined at Blues Alley, we sold out the 7 pm set, so make sure to get your tickets in advance!
