Your Guam Chamber Small Business Focus & Development Committee is pleased to announce that Avian Amsdill, Video Marketing Strategist of MotionTide will be the featured speaker for this month's seminar. He will be speaking on the topic - How to use Video Marketing on Social Media Platforms.

This event is scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Guam Chamber of Commerce Office in Hagåtña. Although we are at maxed capacity, we like to remind members that we encourage them to make advance payments by contacting your Chamber Team, to secure your seats and for a swift and smooth entry on the day of the event.

Your Chamber Business Women's Network is hosting a brown bag event at the Chamber Office on Thursday, July 18th from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. This is a program that provides an opportunity for our members to sit around, grow, and support each other. We are placed to have the experts from Behavioral Health of American Medical Clinic who will focus on "Stress and Anxiety Management". Members are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch and the Chamber will provide drinks and desserts. Seating is limited and RSVP is required with a payment fee of $10.00

Your Guam Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a Democrat Congressional Forum scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Micronesian Ballroom, Hilton Guam Resort & Spa.

This forum will feature Democrat Candidates, Ginger Cruz and Michael San Nicolas, two (2) of three (3) who are vying for a seat at the United States Capital in Washington D.C. Who will you be voting for? Now is your opportunity to take notes and ask questions. Mark your calendars and save this date as seats are limited!

Primary Election: Saturday, August 3rd

As a registered voter in Guam, your Chamber Team would like to remind you that the primary election is just around the corner! On Saturday, August 3, 2024, you'll have the opportunity to cast your ballot and help shape the future of our island. If you eagerly can not wait to cast your ballot, early voting will begin on Monday, July 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Westin Resort Guam. Early voting will end on Monday, July 29th. Make sure to exercise your right to vote and have a say in the candidates who will represent you.

Find out your voter registration status by clicking here or by visiting the Guam Election Commission's website to confirm your polling location to ensure a smooth voting experience. Don't miss this chance to make a difference in Guam's political landscape. We advise registered voters that YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CROSS political parties this election. If you cross parties during early voting (July 15 - 29th) and on August 3rd, your ballot will not be valid. The General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Aircraft Carrier USS Ronald Reagan

(CVN 76) to Make Port Visit

Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) has arrived at the U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG) during the ship’s first port call of 2024. Ronald Reagan has been forward-deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, for the past nine years. This year, Ronald Reagan is returning to the mainland United States for maintenance, and will be replaced as America’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier by USS George Washington (CVN 73).

This is Ronald Reagan’s first visit to Guam since 2022. The carrier will be joined in the port visit by the Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Robert Smalls (CG 62). During the port visit, Ronald Reagan Sailors will participate in community relations events throughout Guam.

S.A.M.E. Guam Post Announces Registration And Sponsorship Opportunities for the Guam Industry Forum 2024

The Guam Post of the Society of American Engineers (S.A.M.E.) announced the opening of registration and sponsorship opportunities for the Guam Industry Forum 2024 scheduled for November 14-16, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.



The 2024 event features three days of engaging activities: a two-day Guam Industry Forum 2024, an island facilities window tour, and the annual Charlie Corn Scholarship Golf Tournament on November 16. Interested attendees can now register for the 2024 S.A.M.E. Guam Industry Forum at guamindustryforum.com and take advantage of early bird fees until September 1st.  iCare4 Wine Dinner Fundraiser

Saturday, June 29th

Sentry Hospitality in partnership with Capitol Kitchen will be hosting an iCare4 Wine Dinner Series scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm. This event will be featuring "A Chef's Story" with Casey Castro, while indulging in a five-course dining experience inspired by Chef Casey's life story, from farm beginnings to global adventures.

Each delectable course is expertly paired with requisite wine to elevate your culinary experience. This event will benefit the Special Olympics Guam & Guam National Badminton Federation. Guam Art Exhibit

The Guam Art Exhibit returns to Tumon Bay for its summer showcase: GAX NOW. GAX is anticipated to feature diverse and intricate artistic expressions with influences of cultural resurgence, interpretation, and resilience.

Artists of all categories and experience levels are encouraged to submit samples of their work along with a brief description of each sample. Proposals will be accepted through May 31st or until all spaces have been filled. For more information, email guamartexhibit@gmail.com.
