A Note From Tracy

Our April issue features ways to help you stand out and the highly anticipated return of National Travel & Tourism Week. Each year we rediscover what travel means to us as a nation and how to deepen our relationships with this weeklong initiative. We’ve collected toolkits to help you plan next month’s activities, whether it's working with your CVBs or direct guest messaging we mapped it out for you. Encourage your entire team to watch the NTTW #FutureofTravel video as part of your countdown. April is National Child Abuse Month we are showcasing Fairfield Inn & Suites as inspiration with a community giveback. There are mentors all around us, and we are eager to share your stories of growth with local partners. We may include your stories in our upcoming issue on leveraging partnerships. Let’s keep this going!

Hey, You

Rebecca Lynn Good, DOSM at Home2 Suites Glen Mills Chadds Ford whose mantra is, “If you ain’t first your last.” No surprise she came in 1st place in March Madness! She secretly wishes Home2 would add pink to their green (as it's the only complementary color). Her reading of late is ensconced in grades 2nd & 4th bedtime stories for Charlotte and Lucas. Keep her happy with large fries, no peas. Fun at work is every day with lip-sync battles, snowmen building to surprise limo rides. 3 years with NHG on May 6th.

Hotel Spotlight

Look no further when trying to find the perfect wedding and meeting location in Pittsburgh than the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel. A convenient distance from the airport, your guests will have an easy journey to a memorable event.

Pittsburgh is known as the “City of Bridges,” boasting 446 bridges which is more than Venice, Italy, or any other city in the world. Fun fact the emoticon was invented in Pittsburgh in 1980 by Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist Scott Fahlman. 🙂
