Hike with us on Saturday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Pigeon Swamp Preserve, Lebanon. 3 miles, easy. Pigeon Swamp is a 135-acre preserve owned and maintained by Joshua’s Trust. The property hosts second-growth deciduous forest, old pastureland and a shallow marsh. We will also see the remains of an old house foundation, mill, dam and sluiceway and the remnants of an 18th century grist mill. Give to our Pentecost Offering...
Our Pentecost offering this year will be used to upgrade our media systems in the Meetinghouse. Each week our worship relies on a complex set of projectors, switchers and graphics systems, and they’re getting old and tired. Our media ministry helps us not only to worship in the Meetinghouse each week, but also to expand our reach to those who are sick, homebound, traveling, recently relocated and to new people who are finding our church online, so this is truly an important outreach. There are special Pentecost offering envelopes in the pews if you’d like to give cash or a check to First Church with Pentecost offering in the memo line. You can give online as well. Please give generously.
