Here’s another truth: meaningful change and transformation are hard if you’re not on your own side. They don’t stick—and new ways of being don’t take root. You see:
- You can’t bully yourself into change.
- You can’t shame yourself into transformation.
- You can’t make peace with your truth if you’re constantly at war with your thoughts and emotions.
And here is a bit of a kicker, the depth of your relationships; the honesty, kindness, and love you experience with others, are directly related to how much of those things you’re willing to offer yourself.
But here is the beautiful part: as you take steps toward cultivating self-kindness and compassion (something we’ll explore in depth during the retreat), you become more aligned with yourself. And when you’re aligned, everything shifts.
- Life feels less like a struggle.
- You stop hiding, protecting, defending, or proving your worth.
- The sense of isolation fades—you no longer feel like you’re “doing” life alone.
- Confidence grows.
- You set genuine, purposeful boundaries.
- You see yourself in a more positive, empowered light.
- Motivation and overall well-being increase.
And so much more… all those personal development strategies and tactics you have been learning for life, work, and relationships begin to take root because you’ve created fertile ground to nurture them.
If this resonates with you, join me on February 15th for the Awaken to Self-Compassion: A Retreat to Get on Your Own Side. (Click link for details)
Commit to yourself and take this step to build a stronger foundation.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to be truly on your own side and how to cultivate a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
I would love to deepen my compassion by sharing this event with you
