To Our Amazing Early Learning Providers, Teachers & Educators...
I think we can all agree it has been a wild couple of months!! Here's what we know now.

We ( those immersed in the child care industry) know without a doubt, that early learning and nurturing learning environments make a positive difference in the lives of young children.

As the children you care for and educate come back to your site or as you re-open and welcome children back, please be on the look out for emotional stress.

The children you are welcoming back lost their daily routine, their trusted teacher connection, friends, learning, and so much more when COVID-19 abruptly changed their lives.

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County has partnered with Eric Mundt, a licensed marriage and family therapist. You may want to encourage parents who may have suffered a devastating job loss or loss of a family member due to COVID-19 to call Eric and his team. This resource is for you, your families, and most important...Palm Beach County's young children.

As always, remember -- you are mandatory reporters for any suspicion for child abuse or neglect.

With Gratitude and Admiration,

All Of Us @ The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County

Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism
Our friends at Sesame Street partnered with CNN to broadcast  family-friendly town hall events . Their all-new 60-minute special “Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism,” aired this past weekend. Click here to watch the recording of this special opportunity.

The show talked to kids about racism, the recent nationwide protests, embracing diversity and ways to be more empathetic and understanding. Big Bird joined CNN commentator Van Jones and CNN anchor and national correspondent Erica Hill to moderate the event. They were joined by "Sesame Street" characters -- including Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Rosita -- and other experts answering questions submitted by families.
