RE-FORMING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, WITH THE EARTH, & WITH EACH OTHER

Peace to you,
This month at Holden, we have seen feet of snow melt into the drainage ditches, the return of many familiar Village critters (as well as a sighting of a mama bear and cubs down the road), and lunches and painting on the Loading Dock. Three artists in residence spent weeks working on music, poetry, and visual art, and led Coffee House open mic night each Friday. Arts in the Cascades returned to the Village for a weekend of listening to the wilderness and time spent in the studio. On April Fools’ Day, the Village woke to find a boat on the Dining Hall island! As the sun warms the Village and brings us closer to spring, we look forward to Holy Week, a group of students joining us for May Youth Weekends, and the return of deer to the Village.
We hope you enjoy these stories and images from the past month at Holden!
