FAA Membership Tea

More than 60 years of support for CSULB arts


The Fine Arts Affiliates (FAA) is a membership-based organization that has supported and advocated for the College of the Arts since 1963, raising more than $1 million in scholarships and awards for CSULB visual and performing artists. Members receive personalized invitations to COTA events, participate in arts-focused excursions and enjoy monthly written and in-person updates on college programs and events. Advanced Media Production joins COTA


Advanced Media Production (AMP) has been part of CSULB since the 1970s when it was part of the Library. In the 1980s, the center joined University Extension Services. This year, AMP officially joined COTA and launched BeachTV/Arts as a spinoff channel to its signature BeachTV. Both channels are available on YouTube and AMP's 24/7 Livestream.

Join CNSM July 25 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at HSCI for a fun, family-friendly day at the Shark Lab with interactive exhibits, live marine animals and insights from CSULB experts. Admission is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring a food donation to support the Beach Pantry.

This long-standing tradition brings together faculty, staff and university leaders to reflect, reconnect and look ahead. The EBM Japanese Garden’s Summer Concert Series is back! Join us every Friday from July 10–August 21, 6–8 p.m., for live music, picnicking and stunning sunset views in the Garden.

Stay moving with a LifeFit Center membership, open to CSULB faculty, staff and community members age 49+. Members enjoy access to a 6,000-foot facility, group fitness classes, personal and small-group training and other programs designed to support lifelong health and well being. INSIGHTS 2026: Juried student exhibition


The INSIGHTS annual juried School of Art student exhibition showcases undergraduate and graduate work reviewed by faculty across respective programs. Select pieces from the exhibition will be on view May 19–July 10 at the Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum. Admission is free and open to the public during museum hours.

Explore, learn and connect with OLLI!



The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) offers non-credit courses for adults 50+ who want to keep learning and connecting. With a wide range of in‑person and online classes taught by experienced instructors, OLLI is a great way to stay intellectually active, meet new people and enjoy learning without grades or exams. Volunteer opportunities are also available, including teaching and serving on work group committees.
