Beachside Shines Bright on Monday Night Beachside came back from a two touchdown deficit to defeat Christ's Church Academy on Monday Night, 34-24. Brick Balcita threw two touchdown passes - one to Bryce Gee for 43 yards and another to Cohen Beebe for 53 yards. Will Dudley added six receptions for 109 yards. Read more.

Junior Maddie Rathjen shot a 76 at Jax Beach Golf Club to finish third overall on Saturday. Ralienne Nacional, also a junior, shot 80 to finish 13th. The boys’ golf team had a very impressive week with three top-10 finishes and a runner-up spot in the St. Johns County Championship. Leading the overall team score was (JR) Nolan Harper at 2 under par, followed by (FR) Jonah Nacional at even par, Brock Wilson +1, and (SO) Caiden Lee +4.    Top-four scores at the Randy Warren Invitational were shot by Nacional- 73, Harper -74, Wilson 75, and (SO) Barton Abstein 79.

River City Champs Our girls varsity volleyball team had an amazing week. On Thursday they dominated Tocoi Creek with a 3-1 win (27-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-17). They also competed in the River City Classic tournament and came out in 1st place with a 5-0 record. We wish our ladies good luck in their games this week. By Leah Sharpe

The girls' swim team was led by Haylee Hite and Gina Faunce at the Frank Holleman Invitational. Peter Manelis and Alejandro Lopez-Romero led the boys' team. Olivia Riegler finished third in diving. Go Barracudas! Coach Adrian Wilson called it the "best meet of the season" with 18 of 23 athletes recording personal records at the Bale and Trail Meet at Bartram Trail High School. Varsity runner Lukas Lee (top) runs through the field and Nicolette Cappello and Logan Weinstein hurdle one of the hay bales in this unique 5K course.
