Out of the Box Contest Nights

In this contest you will get 1 hour to create some sort of accessory using anything out of the treasure chest. We will have a guest secret judge (so you cannot bribe them) They will judge each item and the winner will win a $50.00 Bead Biz gift card $20.00 Tandy Leather gift card and an assortment of beading goodiesBring your own tools, needle, thread, knotty board, glue gun and etc. You may use any technique to create but you must use only what is in the treasure chest. Holy Guacamole Bracelet with Marsha
March 3rd 2-4pm Beginner class
Ready to party with Marsha? Peyote stitch is easy with Superduos; you'll make this fun bracelet with cute seed bead scallops in no time at all. Use a favorite bead for a closure and dance the night away! This pattern can be made by intermediate beaders or determined beginners; if you're just starting out, you'll probably want some help. If you've already worked with seed beads, and are comfortable following directions and diagrams, then this pattern is for you! Class fee is $30 plus supplies.

Dangle Delights
March 3rd 2:00-4:00pm March 16th 10:30-12:30 pm
Design a flower from leaves or briolettes and dangle it as a pendant or make a set into a pair of earrings. There are endless possibilities with different colored leaves or briolettes to choose from. Mix these flowers up with other techniques you have learned and add them to that simple band you beaded or that macrame necklace that needs a little something special. Come admire several samples displayed at the store to get your wheels turning.

Beginning Wire Works 101 with Judi

Beginner class
Taught by Judy Wilde
All created with about 4" of WIRE!
You will make 3 different sets of earrings and learn to make your own ear wires. Learn to make a clasp or two and Headpins. Also learn how to make the perfect loop and wire-wrap basic beads.
Craft wire is included in the class just need some beads for your earrings or to wrap. Stop by and look at the examples and we can give you a handout. Bring your wire working tools or Lora will have some for purchase.
This class fee is $25.00 .

Diamonds R 4 ever

Beginner class
Enjoy a seed bead and crystal overlay pattern creating diamond shapes. These pieces can be used for earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces. Make two or make dozens and create a wide cuff or a simple strand by connecting each piece together with jump rings. Elegant or timeless pieces can be achieved by choosing the right seed bead combo to fit your style. Come admire several samples displayed at the store to get your wheels turning.

Spring Birds Nest Pendant with Lisa

Learn to make this ever popular Bird nest pendants. This is a beginning wire class but fun for the intermediate student too. You will make several in the one class. All Supplies are included $25.00 Class fee. Instructor Lisa Dunn.

Tree of Life pendant with Lisa
March 9th 1:30-3:30pm
Beginner Class Celtic Tree of Life is a symbol of strength, wisdom, rebirth, spirituality and respect for nature.
In this class you will complete at least one tree, and have the skill to make many more. You will discover how exciting it is to see your tree take shape and complete its final form, also to experiment with different shapes and densities of foliage, trunks and branches. Wire will be included in the class. Beads to bring or purchase should be chips, drops, lentils or small non round pearls. Bring your wire working tools if you have them.
This class will be taught by Lisa Dunn
$30.00 instruction fee will include wire.

Butterfly Chain Maille Bracelet with Judi
March 10th 2:00-5:00 pm
Intermediate Class
In honor of the SPRING Equinox on March 20th, let's create something bright and cheery! This is called a Butterfly weave. It isn't complicated, but can appear a bit confusing. A PRACTICE Kit will be provided in class and Sterling Silver and Silver Filled Kits will be available for sale. Chain Maille is created using two pair of pliers: 2 flat-nose or 2 chain-nose or a combo of either. Bring tools if you have them, if not, I have plenty for you to use in class. Class FEE: $35

Jailhouse Rock Leather Bracelet With Roxy March 9th 11-1pm March 28th 6:30-9:30pm
Let's take our new favorite passion to the next level! If you haven't learned how to make a leather cuff yet, don't worry! You'll get a quick lesson in making your pattern, using a rotary cutter, setting snaps and making a new design. We will pick a pendant and wire wrap it onto our finished piece. Hope you can join us!

Viking Weave Bracelet March 13th 1:00-4:00 pm March 23rd 1:00-4:00pm

Spring Bouquet Ball with Rosie
March 16th 4-6pm
In this class you will learn to make this beautiful pendant and earrings. This project will be finished at home. You will be making the sections for the ball and will also get instruction for the earrings. When you complete your Spring Bouquet Ball you can hang it from chain or fiber cord. We will have lots of flower beads in stock to choose from. Instructor: Rosie Class fee $30.00 plus supplies.

Project Bracelet and Earrings
March 21st 3-5pm Beginner class
In this class, Lisa will show you how to make abstract designs with wire. We will make earrings and a bracelet; you may also use this technique to make longer chains. This is a great chance for you to explore your creativity with free-form design. For those who believe that they cannot work without a pattern or instructions, we are going to prove to you that it is easier than you might think. Lisa will lead you on this artistic and flowing journey, making this class fun, easy, and very productive. We will work with wire in 14 and 16 gauges, both "off the roll" and in sections. You may want to bring your own supply as time will likely permit you to make other pieces. Class fee is $25.00 includes wire. Bring you tools if you have them.
