Walk to School Day has passed, but SchoolPool continues through the end of the month!

Help our school earn money by walking, biking, carpooling, or riding the bus to school, and logging your trips on the SchoolPool Calendar. Only one day of walking, biking, carpooling or riding the school bus is needed to count towards earning money for our school.

At the end of the month, submit signed calendars to receive a prize for the student, and $5 for our PTSA!  This is free money for our kids, with up to $1500 (if at least 300 Rockwell families submit their calendar) allotted for our PTSA.  All money earned will go directly to school enrichment programs like the STEM Science Fair, Classroom grants for the Toy Maker, School Musical and Science Van.
Thank you all for participating!

2018 Rockwell Halloween Parade
Wednesday, October 31 @ 12:55pm

The Rockwell Halloween parade tradition continues!

This year's parade will be on Wednesday, October 31, at 12:55 PM As always, please let us know if your child will not be participating in the Halloween parade, so we may plan a fun, alternate activity.

All students are welcome to participate in the parade and to bring their costumes to school for the event. All costumes must follow regular school dress rules and should not be too violent or scary (please remember we have students as young as 5 years old at our school). No weapons are allowed at school, real or pretend, at any time. Please remember that students should be able to put their costumes on over regular clothes, and that teachers and staff will not be able to assist students in changing. More information about the event will be shared in the PTA Beagle Bugle and Rockwell School Newsletters.

Click here to see detailed parade maps (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

To discover, connect, and celebrate the many different cultures and countries that represent our students, family, and faculty at Rockwell. Last year, more than 15 cultures came together at  Heritage  Night to display the strength of our school community. Would you be interested in strengthening this community even more by weaving your cultural  heritage  into our melting pot quilt?

We are looking for 10 more countries to participate. Being a booth sponsor is a great way to showcase your culture and traditions to younger generations and to learn about a country you've always wanted to visit! Please sign up today to be a part of this years event. Our team provides a tri-fold board for you to decorate with pictures and fun facts and you can bring a few things to decorate your table. This is a fun, family enrichment project!

- PERFORMANCE/ENTERTAINMENT (5-10 minutes performance that reflects your heritage, adult and/or children may perform)

Please visit this updated link  for fun ways to volunteer.

Important:  Per the Health department anyone who is preparing food or serving it at the event must have a valid food worker card. Obtaining a food worker card costs  $10,  and requires a brief online training.
