READ-A-THON
begins November 5

This year we are holding a Read-a-Thon fundraiser!

We schedule this every year to compliment and supplement our main fundraiser of the Annual Beagle Contribution (ABC) that many of you contributed to at the start of the school year.

Our Read-a-Thon will start  TODAY.  The neat thing about our Read-a-Thon is that its primary focus is on encouraging reading and building literacy skills.  Also, it is a great way for parents to supplement their ABC especially if their company does not have a matching program.  Finally, the Read-a-Thon is a great way for other family members like grandparents or even friends of the family to donate money that will directly support your child's academic enrichment programs at Rockwell.

Fun Prizes like "Extra Recess Time", "Lunch with a Friend" and "Lunch with the Principal" will be offered for two categories:  "Minutes Read" and "Donations".

Look for "Reader Take Home Sheets" coming home with your children today.  The sheets will have instructions on how to sign-up your kids and take advantage of this fun program!
