GENERAL PTA MEETING - everyone welcome!
Thursday 1/24 @ 7pm - Rockwell Library

Everyone is welcome to join us for our General PTA meeting; more details coming soon!

PTA President

Tuesday 1/29 @ 6:30pm

Dear Parents,
On Tuesday, January 29th Redmond Middle School will be hosting a parent night for all current 5th graders who will be attending RMS next year.  This event starts at RMS at 6:30pm.  This will be a great chance to see and tour Redmond Middle, meet the administration and counseling staff, and have any questions answered for you. This evening is geared toward parents only. RMS counselors will be visiting the 5th grade classrooms in early February to register students for their middle school classes.
Our 5th grade students will be visiting Redmond Middle this spring for an orientation activity. The student leadership at RMS has put together a wonderful formal program that includes student lead tours, Q & A with a student panel, and fun games and trivia. They too will be able to meet the admin, counselors, and some of the 6th grade teachers. This event is scheduled for June 13, 2019.  More information will come later for this event.

February 4-8

Our goal is to collect 6,000 Box Tops February 4th - 8th! ( Expired Box Tops DO NOT count). This goal can be achieved if each student collects 11 Box Tops each.

There is a prize for the winning grade, so collect lots of Box Tops from your pantry,
neighbors, relatives and far away friends! You have one month from NOW to gather up 11 Box Tops.

Every Box Top collected earns the school 10 cents towards PTA programs like shipping candy to the troops, contest prizes, grants and more! Rockwell earned $480 in November.

Let's work together to earn $600 more! (This is the last Box Top contest of the year).

*If a Box Top doesn't look like the above picture, please don't turn it in!*

New levy on the April 23, 2019 ballot

Our school district is growing. To meet the needs of the student population, Lake Washington School District will be placing a capital projects levy on the April 23 ballot. This levy will fund additional classrooms and gym space at specific schools, add security cameras to schools, and secured entrances to district high schools.
