Here is what it says about bad weather:
To ensure that all families know when school has been cancelled or delayed, Lake Washington School District will place a call to all parents via School Messenger beginning at 6 a.m. on those days. If you need to know whether school has been cancelled or delayed before you get a call, the information will also be available on this website (lwsd.org) or at flashalert.net or on many local television or radio stations. The calls are made early so that students at the high schools, which may begin class as early as 7:20, have enough time to get to school.
The Book Fair will be held in the Rockwell Library:
- Monday, October 17th from 11:30 to 7:00
- Tuesday, October 18th from 11:30 to 7:00

WALK TO SCHOOL MONTH:
Tired of all the morning traffic getting to school? Frustrated about being backed up to the traffic circle and having to wait at intersections to drop your student off? Why not try a different method to get to school?
Talk to your neighbors and set up a carpool or "walking bus". Walk your student to school in the morning... it's a great way to spend a little time together and both get some exercise. If your student is old enough, dust off that helmet and let them ride their bike to school. All of these will save you from added morning stress, reduce traffic around Rockwell, and maybe even increase your daily exercise. You may even get to school faster than driving alone!
Continue marking your calendars this week
. Walking, riding a bike, taking the bus, and carpooling are all included. And, you do not have to mark your calendar daily to count... a few times this month is fine too!
Thank you all for participating!

All after school programs require the help of PARENTS. If your child is participating you should plan on helping at least once. When you have signed up to help, you must BE ON TIME, help students get to the appropriate location, help them during the session as needed, and make sure that ALL students are met by their parent/guardian. It is only with this partnership that we can continue after school programs.
We are counting on you!
