ROCKWELL'S 13TH ANNUAL USED BOOK SALE

Thank you students, parents, staff and community members for making our Used Book Sale a great success.  We raised an amazing $1486.82 for the library!  Your generosity will help put many new books on our school library shelves for students to enjoy.  This project would not have been possible without the wonderful volunteers - students, parents and staff - who helped donate, price, organize, set-up, sell and clean-up the thousands of donated books.  A sincere thank you to all involved - volunteers, donors, and shoppers alike.  Have fun reading and start saving your gently used books for next spring's 14 th Annual Used Book Sale!

fieldVOLUNTEERS NEEDED: FIELD DAY
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14

Many parent/guardian volunteers are needed for this special school activity. We need your help!

Event Hosts  will receive all materials needed to set up and manage one field event station with student volunteers. Hosts will offer students encouragement and praise for their participation, and assist with station clean up. Host check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. in front of the school. Younger siblings are welcome to accompany hosts, just let us know so that we can help you select an appropriate station. All hosts are required to have a current background check on file with LWSD, and so when responding to volunteer, please note if you need a form. Also, let us know if you would like to be paired at your event station with an English-speaking volunteer.

Water Balloon Fillers   will receive 30 small balloons and nozzle via Kid Mail the week prior to field day, and will need to return the filled balloons to school with your child in the morning on Wednesday, June 14 . Drop containers will be located in front of the school.

Contact us with questions. Thank you!
