Projects We Love
We receive project photos every day from customers who want to show us the beautiful designs they come up with using our beams, mantels and other products.

While they are all amazing, sometimes there are a select few that really make our jaws drop, and we just can't stop looking at them. Get ready to be inspired for your own kitchen, living room and more.

Great Room...

Professional interior designer Andrea Kleiver turned her creative eye toward her own home, installing two different style of beams in her remodeled great room (pictured left) and her daughter's bedroom (see below).

...and the Bedroom

This is any girl's dream bedroom. In addition to the beautiful furnishings and accessories, Andrea framed a small section of the room with Hand Hewn beams to create a cozy reading nook.

Kitchen

The beams installed in this quaint country kitchen are from our real wood beam collection. Expertly handcrafted in virgin Red Cedar, the beams look like reclaimed wood, but their lightweight box design and custom size options makes them much easier to work with.

Custom Timber Mantel in Rich Walnut
Fireplace

As autumn begins and cooler weather descends, many of us will once again be lighting up the fireplace. This mantel installed by Karen on her natural stone fireplace certainly warms up the room.

"I just wanted to show you all how pretty my mantle turned out.
I absolutely love it."

Beams and Planks

This project is a beautiful example of how to blend faux beams with a plank ceiling for a seriously robust design. While the chandelier is actually mounted on a stud underneath, the beam's box design allows its wiring to be masterfully hidden.

Living Room

To reinforce the rustic look of his living room, the homeowner researched beam layouts that would be seen in a timber-framed home. He recreated the look of real structural beams beautifully, criss-crossing them across the length and width of the ceiling.

Testimonial of the Month
We wanted to enhance our great room ceiling, but didn't want to invest in expensive wood beams. We saw Faux Wood Beams on a home improvement show and thought they would be a good option. I ordered samples and was pleasantly surprised by their realistic appearance. We decided to purchase several beams for our ceiling. They turned out great and no one can tell they are faux!  Lindsey,  OH
