Handling Southern Root-Knot Nematodes
It's not uncommon to discover southern root-knot nematodes on your soybean plants. Often times, detecting them is as simple as looking at your crops. But, at that point, it's too late to do anything. A soil sample can help confirm and determine what type of nematode might be affecting a grower's field. Thanks to checkoff funds , the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board was able to collaborate with the Arkansas Nematode Diagnostic Lab to survey growers across the state. Results showed these nasty little pests are in every soybean-producing county in the state . Watch the full video to learn more.
