June 2024 Checklist

Each month this summer, there will be important items you need to complete to ensure you are as prepared as possible for your arrival to WashU. Some items on the June checklist include:

  • Review and update your WebSTAC user profile.
  • Connect with Disability Resources if you require accommodations due to an identified disability or have questions about specific disability-related concerns.
  • Submit your immunization record and health history form. Students who have not completed this requirement prior to move-in will not be allowed to enter their residence hall.

Residential Life-Managed Housing

Where you will live while studying at WashU is an important decision. WashU Residential Life (ResLife) offers a variety of housing options for incoming exchange students. Below are the most chosen options:

  • Residence halls located on the South 40 consisting of mostly single and double rooms.
  • Residence communities located on the north side of campus including Village House and on-campus apartments including Millbrook Apartments and Village East.
  • Residence communities in off-campus apartments in the Lofts, Greenway, and Rosedale apartments.

For those choosing to live in Residential Life-managed housing, please complete the Housing Application in the Housing Portal as soon as possible.

To complete the Housing Application, please follow these steps:

  • Log into the Housing Portal via your WebSTAC account.
  • Click on Applications from the navigation menu.
  • Select Academic Year Application for Continuing Students from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the application for the upcoming academic year.
  • Complete each page of the application.

Contact Residential Life or call 314-935-5050 with any questions about housing.

Off-Campus Housing Options

Some exchange students choose not to live in ResLife-managed housing. Below are the most common non-ResLife housing options:

  • Lease an Apartment through Quadrangle
  • Quadrangle is a company owned by WashU. This option is mainly for graduate students, but undergraduate students may find available apartments.
  • Sublease a Leased Apartment
  • Apartments can be subleased through Quadrangle or an independent property owner.
  • Alternative Options
  • Some students have found accommodations with property companies such as Parallel Properties or local property owners. You can find available apartments through the WashU Apartment Referral Service.
