GO TIME: Breaking Chains
Church-Wide Study Begins This Weekend: Sunday, January 13, 2019

Beginning Sunday, we are presenting a church-wide study called Breaking Chains based on Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents Biblical, practical steps to move from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to become debt free, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

The classes are fun and full of hope. The average family has an $8,000 change in position during the nine weeks of this study. Classes start January 13, 2019. To find out more information, look for our tables after Sunday services or on the BCUMC website. Free childcare is available!

Save the date! The Youth's annual Night on the Town fundraiser will be on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 6:30pm. Join us for a fantastic dinner and auction hosted by the youth themselves. This is the only major youth fundraiser of the year. All proceeds go directly towards scholarships for mission trips and summer camps. These events have a lasting impact on the youth who attend. Students look forward to our summer camps all year round.  This year we hope to raise enough to allow our youth to invite their friends.

Have a Prayer or Praise?
Ways to submit your prayers and praises

In addition to putting your Prayer Request Card in the offering plate, the Prayer Team is providing a prayer box for the Sanctuary and a Prayer Jar in the Fellowship Hall as a reminder to focus on prayer and join together in lifting up our prayers. As with all Prayer Request Cards, submission, will be collected on Sunday and put in the safe for confidentiality until Monday when the front desk receives them.

In addition, prayer requests can be made by calling the church office or by submission online by clicking here.

Thank You!
Howard Hill and Wayne Kennedy

A big thank you to Howard Hill and Wayne Kennedy for helping the altar team take down the Christmas decorations in the sanctuary this past Sunday. Their work made the process a lot easier.
