You can also make reservations in the church office. Childcare for the evening will be by reservation only.

Please let Jana Jones know if you plan to donate a dessert by Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Please drop off your desserts in the church office Friday, February 8 between 9 am and 1 pm.

Breaking Chains Update
Over 100 People Participating in Small Groups
We want to hear from you!

Pastor Leo said our goal is for every family at Bear Creek to attain Financial Peace. How do we get there? Does it seem impossible? Well, how do you do the impossible, like eat an elephant? One bite at a time! The same applies to getting Financial Peace. If you keep at it over time, and follow a proven plan, you can be out of debt and have a solid financial plan. The Seven Baby Steps taught in Financial Peace are that plan. Millions have followed it and succeeded in finding Financial Peace and are living and giving like no one else today!

Breaking Chains kicked off last Sunday and over 100 of our church and community members are participating in Financial Peace small groups or sermon series discussions during Sunday School hour and have started the journey toward that goal for every Bear Creek UMC family. Let's continue the journey together at Bear Creek helping each other along the way!

It is not too late to join a class! Classes are available on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, Wednesday evenings. There are full 90 minute FPU classes, hour long (Flex) classes, discussion classes, classes for children, youth, and in Spanish.

There is a place for you! Check out the church website for details, call the church office, or email Rick Wilson at rwilson2@wm.com.

Small Group Times:
Sunday mornings, 9:30am - 11:00am
Sunday mornings, 10:15am - 11:45am
Sunday evenings, 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday nights  - MidPoint, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Last Sunday, January 13, we participated in a special giving activity in church. If you were impacted by that activity or did something special with money you may have received, we want to hear about it. Text Pastor Leo, email the church, or call the church office.

Have a Prayer or Praise?
Ways to submit your prayers and praises

In addition to putting your Prayer Request Card in the offering plate, the Prayer Team has provided a prayer box for the Sanctuary and a Prayer Jar in the Fellowship Hall as a reminder to focus on prayer and join together in lifting up our prayers. As with all Prayer Request Cards, submissions will be collected on Sunday and put in the safe for confidentiality until Monday, when the front desk receives them.

In addition, prayer requests can be made by calling the church office or by submission online by clicking here.
