Financial Aid Night


Hello all,


You are invited to our virtual Financial Aid Night! Join us as we demystify scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs. Learn the ins and outs of the FAFSA process, discover eligibility criteria, and gain insights into responsible loan management. Find valuable tips for maximizing financial aid opportunities and explore support services. Don't miss this essential guide to securing the resources you need for your educational journey. The session will be on Tuesday, January 23 from 6:00- 7:00 pm virtually. Here is the link to register. College Connect Information Session


Attention Sophomores! Registration for the information session for College Connect for the next school year is open! Please click on the link to learn more about College Connect and register for the information night that will take place on January 24th

50th Anniversary Edition of the Cal High Yearbook (2024)


1) Purchasing a yearbook:  Please check this list (link here) to see if you have purchased a yearbook (press <ctl><f> to find your name). A Yearbook Only option is available on Future Fund (link here) for $140 between September 1st and January 9th, 2024. After January 10th, Ms. Brindley must have a final count for the yearbook order and will be selling yearbooks for cash or check only in WL-1 until all the ordered yearbooks have been sold. The past two years we have sold out the yearbooks, so please DO NOT WAIT to purchase a yearbook.


2) Seniors!!!: Make sure you are included in the yearbook. Please refer to this letter for important Senior due dates and links concerning Portraits (Nov 9th is the new last day) and ads (Nov 27th is the last day).

PTSA Membership


We would love to see your support of the Cal High PTSA by becoming a member. This can be done on the Future fund registration platform, and also by sending us a check. Parent membership is $16, Students $10 and Cal High Teachers/Staff $8. Donations to PTSA can also be done by check if you want to avoid the platform fee of FF. The check can be send to the PTSA mailbox in school, 9870 Broadmoor Drive, San Ramon 94583. We truly appreciate your support and time.

Any students interested in trying out for a Winter or Spring sport can check the Cal High athletic website.

For any questions about the upcoming season contact the Head Varsity Coach for upcoming information.

Spring sports tryouts begin on Monday, February 5!  All athletes who try out must have an athletic clearance on file. Visit the Cal High Athletics website for more information about the clearance process and each team's tryout dates/times. Go Grizzlies!

Instrumental Music Boosters

CHS Instrumental Music Boosters is a non-profit organization that fundraises to support the Instrumental Music Program at Cal High.

Registrar

Fall Non District Course Deadline - January 19, 2024

Parents- if your students took a Non District Course during 1st semester- The deadline to submit the Fall NDC transcripts for credits is January 19th, 2024. Both the Application to Place Credit form and the NDC Official transcript has to be submitted by the deadline. Please know late submissions will not be accepted. 


– Kindly follow these 2 steps- if the NDC credits are to be transferred on the CHS transcript 

1.  Submit this Application to Place Credit form, after the completion of the course. (NOTE- Paper Copies of "Application to Place Credit" will not be accepted.)


Upload the completed form, signed by both - the student and parent(s). 

Section 4, Question 3 of the Google form is where you need to upload the signed form.

CHS transcript will be updated once this form is received.

2. Submit the Official NDC Transcript from the institution to the Registrar’s office by the deadline. (Transcripts emailed from a student/parent are not considered official and will not be accepted)


Transcripts can be sent to the registrar via fax, email or by postal mail. 


Check here to see if your NDC Transcript has been received and or if grade has been added to Cal High transcript.

The Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Community Advisory Committee (CAC) in SRVUSD is seeking dedicated special education parents to become part of our Resource Parent Network. By becoming a Resource Parent you can inspire, uplift, and empower others while fostering a sense of togetherness within our special education community. Your experience and wisdom can make a world of difference to other parents navigating the complex world of special education. Do you ever wish there was another parent there to guide you when you embarked on your special education journey?
