Sports

Financial Support of Cal High Sports

Much like club sports leagues, there are significant operation costs at the high school level. Team expenditures vary by sport and may include the following: buses, equipment for training, loaned gear or uniforms, sanitation supplies, hydration stations, tournament or meet fees, referees, coaches’ stipends, and more. Donations determine the vitality of sports programs because they’re not backed by funds from the district or state. Player donations are essential!

Please make your student-athlete’s donation today on Cal’s Future Fund site, or paid by cash or check to Trisa Kent in the main office.

Ideally the player donation is made as soon as a student-athlete makes a team, but anytime is a good time to support your team.

Good luck to all of our athletes! Thank you, parents, for your support. Go Grizzlies!

Spring Sports

Spring sports: Men’s Golf, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Swim and Dive, Men’s Tennis, Track and Field, Men’s Volleyball, Competitive Sport Cheer

Athletic Calendar

Spring sports season is well underway and all teams' competition schedules are in a master calendar on the Cal High website.

The calendar is searchable by sport, date and home vs. away games. Browse the upcoming events and come out and support our Grizzly athletes!

Senior Gold Card Package Partial Refunds

At the beginning of the school year, many senior families purchased the "Senior Gold Card Package" for your student. The Senior Gold Card Package covers the costs of a variety of items and activities throughout the school year. One of the items that was included in the Senior Gold Card Package was "Senior Activities." Due to a number of unforeseen logistical roadblocks, we are not able to offer the type of events/Senior Activities that we planned for before the beginning of the year. Therefore, we are offering a refunding for the portion of the Senior Gold Card Package that was designated for "senior activities". If you are a senior parent or guardian, please fill out the attached form to request a $70 refund. Funds that are not redistributed will continue to be utilized for the Class of 2023.

If you have previously completed the Google form requesting a refund, you will receive a check within 2-3 weeks and no further action is necessary.

For anyone is still interested, the deadline is Friday, March 10, 2023
