CELEBRATING RMS
Design Award for RMS Robotics Club (competing as Plants Team)
It was an amazing first competition at VexIQ by the RMS Robotics team. Students did extremely well in all areas and received the prestigious "Design Award"!!! The Design award is given to only one team that excels in the robot design, engineering process/note, and presentation to the judges. The professional judges were impressed by our team's design and other people mentioned that it was a genius idea.

Our team is qualified to the state-level competition in the first round as a result of the award!!! The most impressive part is that all the work was done by the kids themselves from initial concept, design, building, practicing, and overcoming all the nervousness in the competition. Other schools had more support from professional coaches, and other various supports. It should have been especially challenging to kids since there was no previous work laid out at RMS.

Congrats to all the kids again and I believe they will continue to make history.
