Whether you are particpating in the International Night or not, we would still want to celebrate your country.
Please ask your child if they want to make a FLAG of their country & we will display it on the International Night. The size of the flag should not be more than 8x10.

Learn About the New LWSD Portal for Students and Families
LWSD has combined the student and parent information into one new page called "For Students & Families". Come to this free session to learn how to check your students grades, attendance and other valuable information. This event will take place at Redmond Regional library on Sunday, March 4th from 2:00 - 3:30pm.

Nominations Are Open
Did you know that every PTA member is eligible to be a board member? Your RMS PTSA nominating committee is currently looking for people interested in being a PTSA leader for the 2018-2019 school year. Will you have a student at RMS next year? Do you have an hour a week to give in support of programs that help children to be successful students? Please consider one of the open positions listed below.
President - Oversees the board and chair positions, hosts monthly meetings, and communicates with teachers and parents. Commitment of ~1hr/week + monthly meeting(s).
Treasurer - Maintains management of PTA funds and bank accounts. Pays bills, receives and disburses all monies as voted upon by the general membership. Great role for a math geek! Commitment of ~2hrs+/week.
1st VP - Assists in one or more roles working directly with the PTSA President. ~1hr/week.
2nd VP - Assists in one or more roles working directly with the PTSA President. ~1hr/week.
Secretary - Are you good at taking notes? Love buying office supplies? The Secretary takes official meeting minutes and stores records for the PTSA. <1hr/week.
Not a member but interested in stepping up for students?
Join the PTSA and become eligible.

Bear Tracks Weekly is RMS PTSA's electronic newsletter, sent each Monday to RMS families and staff via e-mail. You DO NOT need to be a PTSA member to subscribe to Bear Tracks, it is FREE to all families and staff in the Redmond Middle School community.
Submissions from the school and community should be sent to
weekly@rmsptsa.org by 5pm on Thursday for publication the following Monday.
