RMS Materials & Laptop Return
RMS/LWSD materials will be collected during the last week of school, June 16-19. Your student can also collect any personal items not retrieved earlier. For schedules and social distancing guidelines, please view the 2020 RMS Materials Return Information PDF flyer . If you have more than one student at RMS, choose one time which works best for your family.
Save the Date: Touch of Class, June 15
Our annual Touch of Class Assembly is coming up! Due to our closures this event will be held online via a Microsoft Teams Live Event. Please follow this link to access the event held live on Monday, June 15 at 12:00 PM . Please join us for our end of year celebration! Despite the changes this year has brought, it is important we still assemble as a school to remember and celebrate all the successes of this year. This assembly will feature end of year awards presentations, speeches from staff and students, and our end of year picture slideshow. We hope you're able to attend!
2020 LWSD Summer Programs

Bear Tracks Receives Award of Excellence
RMS PTSA has placed Bronze in the 2019-2020 Washington State PTA Awards of Excellence for Outstanding Newsletter. The Local PTA and Council Awards of Excellence Awards Program recognizes PTAs whose level of effort in specific areas help them make a difference in their community. FACE Parent Education: "10 Commandments of Parenting" (Repeat)
RMS PTSA FACE (Family and Community Engagement) presents "10 Commandments of Parenting" on Thursday, June 11, 7:00 PM. This webinar will provide parents an opportunity to reset and re-calibrate our role as parents in this uncertain and unpredictable times with invaluable tips and anecdotes presented by Dr. Len Fellez. Dr. Fellez is the Best Selling author of "Guerrilla Parenting" and a national speaker on parent education topics and a school teacher for 37 years. Teen Link: Free Support Services
Teen Link is a WA Department of Health funded program that serves youth in Washington State through our peer-to-peer phone, chat, and text lines. Phone workers are trained to support youth by listening to their concerns related to bullying, drug and alcohol use, relationships, stress, depression or any other issues that may come up. Interpreter services are also available. The Teen Link Substance Use Prevention Line offers free professional substance use consultations that teens - and adults concerned about a teen - can call for information about drug use education, prevention, and treatment options. For more information on Teen Link services, please view the Teen Link flyer .
