Equity Team Invite to Parents (Repeat)
The Building Equity Team is seeking a few interested parents to lend a new perspective to our team. The goal of the Equity Team is to enhance and improve efforts to ensure academic success for all students by closing opportunity gaps for students and providing equitable and inclusive working and learning environments for all students, families, staff and communities. Science Club - YBTC Competition
YBTC competition will be held after school on November 19 at 2:45 PM in RMS Room 234 for about one hour. Students will test individually, but scored by team where the winning team will advance to the next level. Students turning 15yrs before July 1 cannot participate and must email us ASAP. Please read all the YBTC competition rules.
Green Team Meeting Recap and Tip of the Week
The Green Team had its first meeting last week and it was a success! We watched a very informative video about "The Story of Stuff" that is eye-opening and discussed our goals! Thank you to those who attended and visit the Green Team webpagefor more information!
Keep reusable containers in the car! When your family goes to restaurants. use the containers for left-overs instead of using the plastic or styrofoam to-go containers that the restaurant would provide.
Coffee with the Principal, November 12 (Repeat)
Join us for a 30-minute check in for Coffee with the Principal on Tuesday, November 12 at 9:30 AM at RMS. We will be discussing the School Improvement Plan, review last year’s data and goals for this year.
School of Excellence Survey (Repeat)
As a Platinum Level School of Excellence, RMS and its PTSA would love to continue improving on our community engagement and communications. Please take the 5-minute survey to help us focus our efforts on areas that need the most improvement. The survey will be open from now until November 12.

Model UN Club Meeting, November 12
Model UN club will meet after school on Tuesday, November 12, in room 230. Club members raised $100 by Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF. This money will help children living in poverty around the world. For more information about the club, contact Mrs. Kernish at dkernish@lwsd.org.
