Picture Retakes: TODAY, Monday, October 21
Retakes and students who missed Picture Day in September. For retakes, please make sure your student brings their original photos to return to the photographer. Families who missed Picture Day can still order photos, using this link  (Picture Day ID# LS119035Q1)
Highly Capable/Quest Programs (Repeat)
LWSD provides accelerated academic programs for students called Highly Capable / Quest programs. LWSD will accept applications from October 1 until October 25 at 4:00 PM. Visit the LWSD Accelerated Programs website for links to applications and more Quest information.

Fall Musical Auditions are TODAY!
There are a few spaces still available for our fall musical on both our cast and crew teams! Auditions for cast participants (7th & 8th graders only) will be TODAY, Monday, October 21, after school! If your student is interested in participating, have them prepare a one minute monologue or poem and a one minute song. Please email the producer at   drama@rmsptsa.org  for an audition appointment, if you have not already signed-up. Crew team is open to 6th-8th grades.

Student submissions are critiqued against other middle school students and are judged on creative ability and interpretation of the theme, "Look Within." All students and all abilities may submit an original entry in any of these six artistic categories: literature, music, photography, film/video, choreography/dance, special artist division.

Fund the Grizzlies (Repeat)
View the Fund the Grizzlies Flyer – Please donate and corporate match if possible to the RMS Associated Student Body (ASB) to help fund student activities. Make checks payable to RMS ASB. The last collection day in October is during Grizzly Time on October 21. For credit/debit donations, visit the LWSD donations webpage . Be sure to select “ASB Donations” from the drop-down menu and to write in your student’s name so they can get credit for the donation.

Free Screening of "Angst"
"Angst" is a film that helps start a global conversation and raises awareness around anxiety. Through candid interviews, kids and teens discuss their anxiety and its impact on their lives and relationships, as well as how they've found solutions and hope. The documentary also provides discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, along with the help, resources and tools available to address the condition.
