Lake Washington School district is offering free breakfast in September for students in grades k-8. Whose schools serve breakfast? Redmond Middle School serves breakfast so let’s make breakfast a habit this month. This includes breakfast after the bell.

We’re halfway through our fall membership campaign! Thanks to the 505 members who have joined so far this year. Haven’t joined yet? Sign up online or send in your form from Griz Biz. Can’t find the form? Next week your student will bring home a 10 Reasons Why short form. If you’re not certain about the status of your membership you can log in to the website rmsptsa.org with your email address and review your order/print receipts. After you log in, please also select your student’s Grizzly Time teacher from the list.

Math Club Info Night
RMS PTSA Math Team is for students who want to participate in various competitions throughout the year including -
AMC 8, AMC 10, MATHCOUNTS, Math is Cool, Washington State Math Championship and Knight of Pi Math Tournament.

Science Club Info Night
RMS PTSA Science Club provides students an avenue to join other science lovers and form partnerships and teams to participate in various science competitions throughout the year. Through practical projects, theoretical study and interactive hands on events in Science Olympiad, students can enhance and test their science acumen.
Students can register for the competitions that interest them on a space-available basis. Science competitions planned for this year are:
Regional Science Bowl – Come test your speed in Science
Washington State Science Olympiad – Build a roller coaster, be a crime buster or Test out different potions and poisons
You Be the Chemist (YBTC) – Be a spirited Chemist
