Parent Education Event & PTSA Member Vote Regarding Marquee Sign Funding
|
|
Based on the interest expressed by our parents, PTSA (FACE) is happy to bring to RMS a Parent education presentation about internet safety. Our kids are digital natives which means that they’ve never known a world without technology at their fingertips. The internet is a powerful learning and social tool, but it can expose our kids to mature information and dangerous people. Parents need to have a plan on how to regulate their children on using the internet safely and responsibly. We will discuss ways to keep our children safe online, to limit and monitor internet use, and to teach responsible internet behavior.
EVENT BEGINS AT 6:30 SHARP!
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and light refreshments will be provided.
Date
- Tuesday, December 4th
Time
- 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Speaker
: Sheri Gazitt, Teen Wise
We will also be briefly discussing and voting on funding options for the currently inoperable marquee sign in the front of the school.

Have you noticed the designated parking spot for Volunteer of the Month?
The PTSA and RMS staff have partnered together to allocate this
prime parking spot
to the deserving
souls who have dedicated their time, energy and leadership to the students of our school. Please keep this parking spot open and available at all times.
Our valued volunteers are always coming/going and bringing with them heavy loads…. treats for student
recognition, coffee/snacks for Coffee with the Principal or handouts/materials. Having this prime
parking spot truly is useful and an added bonus of pledging their time for the betterment of our kids.
They also deserve to have the designated parking spot when they visit the school for concerts,
enrichment or sports.
The following individuals have demonstrated the Grizzly Way by leading by example, willing to help and
able to multi-task/delegate/plan/organize/educate with a smile and ask for more.
September’s Volunteer of the Month – Laura D’Urzo
October’s Volunteer of the Month – Ommama Hassan
November’s Volunteer of the Month – Tracey Gauthier
Please join me us in thanking these individuals for their commitment to serve our community.
If you have not yet volunteered or are looking for an opportunity to shine, please contact Stacy Hatch
