And the Winner Is . . .
Students! Students win when we work together to support them. One of the ways we do this is through our Family and Community Engagement (FACE) outreach. Read the latest update and see what there is to look forward to. The update includes results from the vote on Parent Education Topics at Griz Biz.
Chairperson positions open for a few more programs:
Fundraising, 6 th Grade Musical, 8 th Grade Celebration, Walk to School Month and Nominating Committee are the biggies. Please email Volunteers@RmsPTSA.org to inquire.
Join RMS PTSA in August and Win!
As of August 26th we have 242 members, thanks for joining! Remember your membership comes with great benefits such as discounted tickets to the Washington State Fair. Email membership@rmsptsa.org if you need the login for the discounts page.

As an added bonus if you renew or add a new PTSA membership in August you will be entered in a drawing to win a set of books to help your student succeed in middle school. Books will be awarded by random drawing from all the paid memberships received before September 1st. Memberships paid by scholarship are also eligible to win.
Thank you Griz Biz Volunteers!
Please thank the following volunteers who expedited the laptops getting checked out: Laura L, Chi T, Gabe N, Darron T, Jeanne A, Deborah C, Joseph H, Michelle O, Florinda G, Wendy G, Glenda A, Heather C, Lindsey F, Sylvie W, Laura D’, Grace K, Shaohua L, Ekta and Aaron K. Add the ASB and staff to your accolades! Condensing Griz Biz to one day was a success due to all hands on deck.

Speaking of volunteering – WOW! This is going to be a powerful year for our kids. Participation in this year’s Two Hour Power Pledge has been impressive, but there are lots of opportunities awaiting helpers. I encourage you to visit the PTSA website http://rmsptsa.org/Home to learn more, print out a pledge form AND sign up to volunteer!
