Costumes at School
On October 31, please remind your students that any costumes worn must fit within the school dress code. For safety reasons, face masks, face paint, and fake weapons are not allowed.

Car Etiquette
If you are planning to visit the school, or picking-up/dropping-off students, please do not block walking paths, school driveways or the driveways of our neighbors with your cars.
Call for Pictures for Veterans Day Assembly
Veterans Day is coming up and we need digital photographs of veterans you know, to be shown at the school assembly (hard copy photographs not accepted). Send an email with a picture attachment (JPG, PNG, etc) to with your name, the name of the veteran, and to which military branch they belonged. Please email your pictures before Tuesday, October 29, 1:00 PM, otherwise, they cannot be included. If you have questions, they will be forwarded to Ms. Morris.
High School Options 2020-21
Do you have an 8th grader at RMS? Watch you mailboxes for this year’s high school options postcard. Plan ahead by attending high school and choice school information nights. Details can be found on High School Options flyer .
Green Team Kick-off Meeting, October 30
Join the Green Team for our 2019 kick-off meeting will be after school this Wednesday, October 30 at 1:15 PM in the Red Cedar Pod . We will be discussing goals and doing some fun projects! Staff Appreciation Chair Needed
Love your kid’s English teacher? Want to show those special staff members just how much they are appreciated for all they do for our kids? RMS PTSA is looking for a volunteer to head up the area of Staff Appreciation. If you’re interested in organizing a special luncheon/potluck for Thanksgiving, the Holiday Season, or Staff Appreciation Week, please contact .
Turn in SchoolPool Trackers by November 6
It's almost the end of SchoolPool month! Make sure students fill in contact information and have them drop off trackers into the drop box located in the school's main office by Wednesday, November 6, 1:20 PM . Each returned tracker with at least one non-drive mark earns RMS ASB $5, up to $3,000! Last year, RMS students returned 401 trackers - let's see if we can beat that number this year!

RMS MUN Club Meeting, October 29
RMS MUN Club will meet on Tuesday, October 29, in room 230 after school. The club is for all 6th-8th graders who wish to participate in Model United Nations. MUN simulates international relations and global politics while increasing research and debate skills. Direct any questions to Mrs. Kernish .
