Helpful Features on Skyward
Online Absence Requests
In addition to calling or emailing the school, families can now log into their Skyward Family Access accounts to let schools know that your student will be absent (for a one-day or long-term absences). View the instructions for online absence requests .

Auto Emails for Missing Assignments
Parents and families can choose to receive automatic notification once each day about the existence of any assignments marked by a teacher as missing. Visit the LWSD webpage for instructions on auto emails for missing assignments on Skyward .
Highly Capable/Quest Programs
LWSD provides accelerated academic programs for students called Highly Capable / Quest programs. LWSD will accept applications from October 1 until October 25 at 4:00 PM. Visit the LWSD Accelerated Programs website for links to applications and more Quest information.

Membership Drive Raffle

Keep Marking SchoolPool Trackers!
Encourage your students to fill out their SchoolPool tracker! Why should they do it? For every tracker that gets marked and then returned at school at the end of the month, City of Redmond will donate $5 to ASB which can go towards clubs, activities, sports and social events. It's a really easy way to raise up to $3,000 for RMS students !

Fund the Grizzlies (Repeat)
View the Fund the Grizzlies Flyer – Please donate and corporate match if possible to the RMS Associated Student Body (ASB) to help fund student activities. Make checks payable to RMS ASB. The last collection day in October is during Grizzly Time on October 21. For credit/debit donations, visit the LWSD donations webpage . Be sure to select “ASB Donations” from the drop-down menu and to write in your student’s name so they can get credit for the donation.
