Maintaining open lines of communication through
transparency is the main goal of this event every month.
Each session is specifically designed for parents to hear directly from the Principal. A
sk questions and/or share concerns that will positively impact student academic achievement.
So come fill up on a warm cup of coffee, and receive the latest news and events on campus.

City of Redmond to provide students a supportive spot to get help with their school work is up and running. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday’s students can stay after school and get help from City of Redmond staff in the school library from 2:40 - 3:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, students can stay from 1:10 - 3:00 p.m. and staff will support this. On Wednesday’s school is providing a shuttle bus that stops at Einstein Elementary, Avondale at the walk path (9301 Avondale) and Avondale and 180
th
Ave. If your student could use some extra support, encourage them to stay.

Directions to access the reports:
- To access your child’s scores click on the Skyward Family Access link on the district website.
- Log in to Skyward Family Access with your username and password.
- Click on the PORTFOLIO tab. Note: There is also a Test Scores tab that will provides scores; however, you can view the actual full score report in Portfolio.
- Under a tab with your child’s first name, click on each test result that you want to view.

SchoolPool October Challenge Has Begun!
|
October is SchoolPool Month! Walk, bike, bus and carpool to school and earn cash for Redmond Middle students! Look for the School Pool calendar coming home and mark the calendar for every time your student walks, bikes, buses or carpools, until October 31. At the end of the month, each returned calendar earns RMS PTSA $5, up to $3,000 for the school year. Join in on saving the environment and helping RMS students at the same time! Questions?

WSD applications for Highly Capable programs start October 1 through 4 p.m. on October 26, 2018. Parents of first-grade students attending LWSD schools should
not
apply during this application period. LWSD first-grade students are screened for Highly Capable Programs in November in their general education classroom.
