Thank you for the JOY of serving your students this week. Although there were some first-week bumps and scheduling challenges, the students' enthusiasm has caught on and been shared throughout the halls with smiles, laughter, and excitement. JOY is our virtue for this month and with all of your support, love, patience, and kind words, JOY was felt by all.
The first President's Corner will be out next Tuesday. Additionally back to school nights will have a 30-minute all-parent meeting covering exciting new Behavior Expectation policy along with other important topics for your grade level. At this meeting, we will briefly review the updated St. Monica Quick Guide to Responsibilities for the 2022-23 school year.
Looking forward to the Back to School picnic on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
God is good...all the time...all the time...God is good,
Mrs. Angeline Trudell

will be supplying the Bearcat spirit! Help your child connect with their classmates by
wearing their grade’s spirit color:

We are expecting a wonderful turnout, and we have some great vendors
supporting us again this year. The Knights of Columbus will be grilling burgers
and hot dogs outside this year with all the proceeds going back to SMS! We will
also have the Waffles O’licious truck back, as well as Cinco Taco Truck serving up
some delicious bites. Kona Ice will be cooling things off again this year, and they
will also be donating a portion of their sales back to the SMS PTO. You can avoid
the lines by preordering your meal from the Knights of Columbus at
kofc5656.org. As always, you are welcome to brown-bag your own dinner.
Hope to see you all there!

The app allows you to have so many beneficial tools at your fingertips. (i.e. directory, grades, and event calendar are just a few). The FACTS Family Portal app is replacing the old RenWeb app, but offers fewer features and requires an annual fee.
