Safe Environment Training

It is required for any volunteer to be on campus. If you have not done Safe Environment training at St. Monica, now is a great time to start the process. If you have not completed Safe Environment training at St. Monica, then you will be considered a new volunteer.

Renewals can be completed online before the start of school.

New Student/Family Orientation

Friday, August 8th

Join us in the Family Center

PK: 9AM

K-8th: 10AM

Students will be able to visit classrooms after orientation.

Meet the Teacher

Friday, August 8th

Drop by between 12-2PM to meet your homeroom teacher.

Spirit Store will be set up in the cafeteria for any last-minute Bearcat items you may need. Order online and pick up during Meet the Teacher in the cafeteria.

Confirm your information in FACTS is up to date before school starts

Here’s how to update your contact information in FACTS Family Portal:

In Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, go to factsmgt.com and click Family login
Select FACTS Family Portal
Type the school’s District Code – SMSD-TX, Username, & Password
Under School select "Web Forms"
Then select "St. Monica Family Demographic Form"

On this form, you can update your contact information, grandparents, emergency pickups, etc.

Bearcat Bots

The robotics club aims to instill STEM education through hands-on Robotics experience. The study of Robotics will incorporate three pillars of STEM: Think (think of ideas on how to design a robot efficiently), Do (build a robot & operate), and Test

(test solutions and compete).

Chess Club (K-8)

We are excited to begin registration for this year’s chess program for Fall 2025. The Knight School will be leading St. Monica’s chess team this year. Our SMS students will be learning the royal game and enjoying themselves!

We are excited to have Drama Kids International return for the 2023-2024 school year. Drama Kids International will be offering programs for K-5th grades. Students will develop important confidence-building skills that will help them personally and academically.
