SISD to Host Vaccination Clinic and Health Fair

State law requires children to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases or have a valid exemption to attend school in Texas. Sherman ISD is offering a health fair to families on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sherman High School cafeteria. Students can get vaccinated, receive vision and hearing screenings and connect with community partners.

Depending on your child’s grade level, updated immunization records may be necessary for your child to start the 2024-25 school year. This is most likely to impact your child if they are entering kindergarten or seventh grade. Don't miss out on this opportunity to prepare for the new school year!

Immunizations are also available through your health provider or clinic, and the Grayson County Health Department is offering low-cost immunizations throughout the summer.
