Newsletter for Parents and Friends of
Beaumont School

November 18 - 24, 2018
Dear Parents and Friends,

On behalf of the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, Board of Directors, administration, faculty and staff, we would like to simply say, thank you! Thank you for giving your time attending open houses, sporting events, concerts, drama productions, honor society inductions, class celebrations and alumnae weekends. Thank you for sharing your talents on committees, clubs, and parent and alumnae organizations. Thank you for investing in an all-girls’ Ursuline education. Most of all, thank you for entrusting us with the education of your incredible daughters. We are called to this educational ministry and it is our great privilege to prepare them for life, leadership, and service.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mission Integration

As we feel in our bones the changing of the seasons, the shortening of days, the chill in the air, the swirl of falling leaves and the changes in the appearance of the clouds, we are reminded to take our cue from nature and pause to learn the message it sends us. The shortening of days prompts us to pause and consider the ways in which we use our time. Are we leaving enough time for reflection on where our lives are going? The falling leaves remind us of that the dying of summer’s spirit gives way to the promise that death is temporary and life is eternal. The brilliant colors cause us to reflect on the wonders that only God can create. When we see our breath in the chilled air, we are reminded that only God gives us the breath of life. The harvest from the fields remind us of the abundance we have been given and bounty we are to share with others.
