Career Day 2022

Beaumont hosted our annual Career Day on April 22, welcoming over 20 alumnae back to campus. All of our students had the opportunity to hear from alumnae currently working in various career fields including engineering, art therapy, health care, pharmacy, education, and more.

The day concluded with a panel discussion moderated by President Hoke and six panelists including Stephanie Adams '94, Sara Dolan '14, Annie Walton Keller '03, Treva Offutt '87, Kate Pifer '10, and Kate Siefert '13. The panelists answered questions directly from our students regarding their career fields, specific Beaumont experiences that shaped their careers, their favorite memories, and their advice to our current students.

Marykate '24

Marykate was selected by the National Coalition of Girls Schools to receive an all-expenses paid scholarship to attend Jersey College for Girls’ LEAP (Leadership and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme) this summer. Marykate, owner of Marycakes Delights, submitted an elevator pitch to NCGS that pitched her idea to develop her business into a social enterprise that provides children from under-resourced communities the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship. She was one of three girls from NCGS schools to be awarded this scholarship to attend LEAP this summer.

Marykate looks forward to experiencing business and innovation from a global perspective with 60 other girls and entrepreneurial leaders from around the world. By participating in the LEAP program this summer, she hopes to “gain a better sense of operating and pursuing a life in business with the help of mentors and influential speakers, as well as learn to engage with girls from around the world with various backgrounds, perspectives, and goals.”
