Good Day...
Let's start off with the good news: we are about to experience a beautiful 'trine' aspect between minor benefic Venus, major benefic Jupiter, and Neptune. What is a trine? This is a highly harmonious aspect between planets. Why do we care about aspects? We care about aspects because they describe the conditions under which things occur. Aspects describe "how" a situation will unfold.

So what about this 'trine' aspect between Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune? Well, planets form a trine to each other when they are under the same element. The elements are fire, earth, air, and water. Signs of the same element are always in trine to each other. Planets in the same element are able to interact harmoniously. In other words, they do not have to relate to each other discordantly from conflicting elements. Obviously, having Venus (planet of joy, love, sex, romance, and luxuries) in a beautiful relationship with the good God Jove (abundant Jupiter) is a good thing. As Venus is in water sign Cancer and Jupiter is in water sign Scorpio, they both form a beautiful trine to Neptune in Pisces. This is know as a 'grand trine'.

This exact trine between Venus and Jupiter occurs today Friday June 1st. Take a look at your chart to see where the three planets fall: Jupiter at 15 degrees of Scorpio, Venus at 15 degrees of Cancer, and Neptune at 16 degrees of Pisces. Have a think about where this beautiful energy can give you and your life a boost.

Always remember that to fully decipher what is occurring in a chart, we have to look at many other factors. Transiting planets trigger underlying dynamics in a chart, but we have to understand those deep underlying dynamics.

We do need to tread carefully at the moment as accident and illness-prone Mars is moving closer and closer to the south node of the Moon. The lunar nodes show where the Moon is crossing the Sun's path. As a basic rule of thumb, the north node is benefic (good) while the south node is malefic (bad). We say this because the north nodes adds energy while the south nodes removes energy. As you can imagine, malefic Martius at the Moon's south node is tricky.
Mars is currently at 5 degrees of rigid Aquarius. As each day goes by, he will creep closer and closer to the troublesome south node which is at 8 degrees of Aquarius. Look at your chart and be very cautious wherever 5-8 degrees of Aquarius falls. Determine which house is affected and be sure to understand what that house rules in your life. If you have a natal or progressed planet at that point, you need to bring into scope whichever signs/houses that planet rules. This is the kind of analysis I conduct when I review client charts for their monthly monitoring reports.

Here is the movement of Mars by day so that you can monitor his approach to the south node in your chart. Remember that the south node is at 8 degrees and that Mars is effective within 2 degrees. Tread carefully!

Don't be fooled by Mercury in his own sign of Gemini. Yes, it is true that planets are in better condition under their own signs, BUT Mercury is approaching the same point in the zodiac as the Sun! There is no worse affliction than the approach to the almighty Sun! Whatever Mercury rules in your life is on risky territory. Right now Hermes is at 2 degrees of Gemini while the Sun is at almost 10 degrees of Gemini. As each day goes by, poor Hermes gets into worse condition. Remember that Mercury rules transportation, communication, trade, children, contracts etc. Everyone gets their knickers in a twist over Mercury retrograde, but retrogradation is nothing in comparison to combustion (a planet is combust as it approaches the Sun).

Mercury will reach the very heart of the Sun at 10pm eastern time on June 5th. Now this is another matter altogether. The heart of the Sun is the finest dignity of all! Think of it like this, approaching the king is a very risky business, but sitting on his lap enjoying all of his power is very different. Mark the 5th on your calendar and check where this action occurs in your chart (15 degrees of Gemini).

Watch your mood right now as the Moon struggles between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. She cannot stand Capricorn even when she is not besieged by malefic Saturn and malefic Pluto... Phoebe escapes the grasp of Saturn and Pluto late evening eastern time on the 1st. We should wake up to a cheerier world on Saturday.

Don't test anyone's patience on Sunday though as the Moon approaches and transits over Mars and the south node... The Moon conjunction with Mars is at 6.22am eastern time, so pretend to be asleep. Phoebe's conjunction with the south node is at 11.56am eastern time, so pretend to be in meditation. You probably know anyway that meditation heightens alchemical ability...

Let's check on love and luxuries (Venus). Careful in love and sex on Tuesday May 5th as Venus will oppose Pluto. The exact opposition will be at 10.19 pm eastern time so lock up your daughters. Check what Venus rules in your chart.

Now for your chore list
...
Luna is waning (decreasing in light) at the moment, so this is the best time for housework. The waning Moon is far more conducive to cleaning than the waxing Moon. The waxing Moon sweeps in while the waning Moon sweeps out.
The Moon is in Capricorn on Friday and Saturday making it a great time to weed, create paths, erect fences, plant root vegetables, thin plants, fertilize flowers, and set up manure. These are also good days to preserve and store root vegetables.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday's Moon in Aquarius is not much use in the yard or garden. You should limit gardening to weeding. Personally, I leave the garden and yard alone when the Moon is in Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius is far better for intellectual pursuits... It is not a bad time to clean metals so make that silver candlestick shine! Baking bread works out well under a waning Moon in Aquarius. This is not a bad time for painting either...
Luna will be in the sign of the Pisces on Wednesday and Thursday. Plant leaf vegetables, water indoor and outdoor plants, and mow the lawn. The Moon in Pisces is the very best day for laundry. Stains are removed far more easily and laundry is so much cleaner. Phoebe loves to clean when in Pisces so get as much done as you can...I always steam wooden floors when the Moon is waning in Pisces. You might want to clean the windows too!
Friday the 8th, Saturday, the 9th, and Sunday the 10th Phoebe will sojourn in Aries. Plant anything that grows fast and plant fruit. Moon waning in Aries is a great time to air beds.
