Dear Neighbors

Today is extra special because a medical office opens here in Beaver Creek starting at 7 AM.  It has been a long time since one has been available, so we are very fortunate to have the services of Canyon Medical Clinic. . . .  Twelve hours later, at 7 PM, the annual Blue Christmas Service is presented at Montezuma Chapel.  In between there are Yoga and movement classes, the Lake Montezuma Women's Civic Club luncheon and several club meetings.  If you live in Montezuma Estates and have decorated the outside of your home for the holidays, please stop by Montezuma Rimrock Water Co to enter the contest which has terrific cash prizes.  On an added note, Walmart has a 12 hour hiring event going on in Cottonwood if anyone is looking for extra winter funds.

At the Adult Center, some more food donations would be appreciated for their Angel Tree families.  The Kiwanis could use some more donated items to sell at the last three days of Christmas House.  These can be dropped off today or tomorrow at Kiwanis Clothes Closet or on Thursday or Friday at the Christmas House.

Tuesday, December 11 Events in Beaver Creek

Opens Today, 12/11-Canyon Medical Clinic  in the Lake Montezuma Village Square opens for service today. The doctor is in from 7 AM to Noon, Mondays through Thursdays and also Wednesday afternoons. Most insurances accepted including ACCSS and Medicare. Appointments without insurance are $45. Walkins are welcomed.
 
Tuesday, 12/11-Walmart Hiring Event. On the spot job offers for pay rates of $11 to $15 per hour, full and part time available. Please come to Best Western Inn located at 993 S Main St in Cottonwood from 8 AM to 8 PM. For more information call Personnel at 928-634-0444.
 
Tuesdays, All-The Creative Movement Classes meet in the BC Adult Center from 9 to 9:45 AM. The Chair Yoga classes meet from 5:30 to 6:15 PM. Please call Pamela Zahnzinger at 928-592-9114 for further information.Classes $5.
 
Tuesday, 12/11-Yoga Classes today at Emerald Waves Healing located at 3470 E Beaver Creek Rd. are 10 AM and 6:15 PM. More information is available from Christine Frydenborg Dargon at 603-321-7284. Classes $10.
 
Tuesday, 12/11--The  Lake Montezuma Women's Civic Club  meets at Robbie's in Rimrock, 11 AM to 1 PM. Lunch (soup and salad bar) is $15. Montezuma Chapel
Tuesday, 12/11-The Blue Christmas Service begins at 7 PM in Montezuma Chapel located at 3450 E Rusty Spurs Rd. This service is to bring comfort for anyone who may have lost a loved one, has a struggle in their life, is feeling discouraged, suffering anxiety, etc. The Christmas Season is difficult for some. The community is welcome to attend this service.

Deadline is Wednesday, 12/12-Annual Holiday House Decorating Contest for Montezuma Rimrock Water Customers. Enter today or tomorrow. Judging is December 12 through 17 for first, second and third place prizes of $200, $150 and $100. Sponsored by the Montezuma Rimrock Water Company.
