March 9 (Saturday) 2019

Dear Neighbors

This Saturday is another fine day to participate in events throughout our community.  In early morning the monthly food bank is open to all at Beaver Creek School. Then over in the Lake Montezuma Village Square our new health service provider, Canyon Medical Clinic, is having a Grand Opening which includes lunch!!  At 1 PM in the Adult Center, there will be a presentation on the proposed Verde Connect which includes a new bridge and a new road.  In the late afternoon at Montezuma Well, the first in a series of free Yoga classes is offered at Montezuma Well.

Verde Connect?  The calendar crew has asked a few folks about this.  The common answer is that I've heard of it but am not sure what it is.  This is your opportunity to find out what Yavpai County is spending your money and to have some input in it.  Where will this road and bridge be located?  The general Verde Connect study area is below.

On March 21 the annual free dumping days begin at the refuse centers.  Thank you to the Board of Supervisors!  Fire Chief Terry Keller would like to remind you that none of the Verde Valley fire and EMS districts or departments are soliciting donations.  Please ignore calls from the Firefighters Support Association PAC.  More information is below.

See you out & about enjoying the Saturday events,
