Dear Neighbors
Just a quick update this morning.  The annual Beaver Creek Trails Day is today at Sycamore Park in Lake Montezuma.  A new trail is being considered.  Please stop by and make comments.  The cowboy coffee will be ready at 11 AM and the Dutch oven enchiladas and peach cobbler will be ready at noon.

Sadly the missing horse which needs daily medication has still not returned to her owner. Katrin  has reason to believe that she is now in someone's yard in the Rimrock area.   Below is an update with new pictures, and the owner is offering a reward to anyone who will lead her to the mare's exact whereabouts.

The Beaver Creek Adult Center has two upcoming events that are time sensitive.  If you want to sign up for vendor space, indoors or outside, for the Arts & Crafts Festival on November 2 & 3; please see the information below and make that call now.  On New Year's Eve, the Adult Center is sponsoring a Casino Party from 2 to 5 PM run by event specialists.  Please reserve your seat now since the price goes up in November.  The Center does need an accurate count for this event.  More information is below.

BEAVER CREEK TRAILS DAY, 10/20
Celebrate Beaver Creek Trails Day, Saturday, October 20--  from 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, October 20 in Sycamore Park at 4710 E Beaver Vista Rd in Lake Montezuma (next to the bridge).   Enjoy free Dutch oven cooking, cowboy coffee and lemonade. (Coffee will be ready at 11 and lunch served at noon) Local trails maps are available and County and Federal agency representatives will be present to answer questions. BC Trails Day is sponsored by the Beaver Creek Trails Coalition (BCTC) which will have information about a proposed new trail & trailhead, regional group hikes, and how YOU can get involved.  There will be items for children.

NEW YEARS EVE PARTY
BCAC will be  celebrating New Year's Eve with an afternoon Casino Party from 2:00-5:00 pm. The party will be put on by Arizona Event Professionals from Flagstaff. They provide everything needed to play: tables, dealers, chips, cards, etc,  So far tables have been ordered for Texas Holdem, Roullette, Black Jack, and more can be added. $25 per person will include $500 in chips to play with, plus food, party hats, noise makers, prizes, etc. IN ORDER TO KNOW HOW MANY GUESTS TO PLAN FOR, IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND YOU NEED TO RESERVE YOUR TABLE NOW!!  If you wait until November to reserve your spot, the price goes to $30 per person. ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
