Phew, did anyone else feel like February was a whirlwind or was that just me?! Between the weather being indecisive switching between snow pants weather and t-shirt weather in the same week, a packed Youth Ministry calendar with SonShine and weekly Rooted happenings, and being a little under the weather myself I feel like I have been blowing in the wind. When things get hectic I find there are 3 things that bring me back to some sense of 'normal': Sleep, snacks, and time in my Bible. With only 122 days (at the time of writing) until the summer staff move in for staff training it is my prayer that you are able to find time to keep yourselves rooted in God's Word.

February snapshot:
Our recent SonShine event (over President’s Day Weekend) was a huge success with 45 young people and volunteers coming together under the theme of #LoveYourSelfie. The weekend, which included a trip to Willard Mountain for an evening of snow tubing, was attended by young people from all over the Diocese who came together to continue our 55 year history of Building Community in Christ! For photographs of the event head here.

Collect
O God, who before the passion of your only begotten Son revealed his glory upon the holy mountain: Grant to us that we, beholding by faith the light of his countenance, may be strengthened to bear our cross, and be changed into his likeness from glory to glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen
Prayer requests:
We ask for prayers for the upcoming roller skating event and that the time of fellowship is blessed with a renewed hunger for the Word. We also ask for continued prayers for summer camp planning, preparation, and that God creates a camp experience that is good and pleasing to Him.
