What is a

Challenge Coin?

A. A coin awarded to the survivor of a dual challenge

B. I don't care, I don't use coins anymore

C. A  small coin or medallion, bearing an organization's insignia or emblem and carried by the organization's members and are used as rewards or awards for outstanding service or performance of duty.

So what's that got to do with Beaver Lake?

Our very own Rabbi Tzvi Berkowitz created a Challenge Coin with the specific goal to honor and recognize the efforts of "Schomre Yisrael" in Israel and abroad.

The coins, sponsored by various organizations, are distributed to law enforcement, military, first responders and others who act in heroic fashion to defend Am Yisrael.

Below is Tzvi is handing out such coints in Sderot Israel.

Individuals in Beaver Lake have sponsored such coins that will have the following message enclosed with the coin.
