Beaver Lake Shareholders held their annual member meeting where an update was provided on various financial and operational matters.

President Harry Wiesel opened the meeting

by relating the following:

WE, YOU have created a truly AMAZING place.

It came together for me when I ran into one of our founding couples who have been away from us for the last couple of years. Their first words after seeing this place was Wow!!!! Look at what you have done!! I said NO, look what WE have done!!!

There is the obvious: the pool complex, the lake facilities, the camp, the grounds, the sports facilities and infrastructure.

BUT, much much deeper than those physical things is the dynamic, upbeat ENERGY that exists here in BL. The steady drum beat of happy campers, happy families and the enthusiasm of our dedicated staff who truly love BL.

ALL of this…. the tangible things that you can see and our upbeat energy translates into BL being the hottest destination in the Catskills. The waiting list for rental units will fill pages. Homes for sale command premium prices and I get regular inquiries about opening up new lots for new shareholders.

People are finding us. Visitors who come are inspired to leave messages on our Google Business Profile. Do a search on Google for BL and you will see what I mean.

Our website has almost 2,500 users with over 11,000 pages visited since the beginning of the year. WOW.

And when they view our website they find links to our world class newsletter that puts everything that is BL all together in a way that brings out the joy of being a Beaver Laker!!!!

Headed by Suzy Schwartzstein, a tzedakah fund raiser for Chesed 24/7 was held in the BL Casino. The women who attended packed boxes to be given out in hospitals for Shabbos. A delicious lunch was prepared by the participants.
