| | | Share Your Shabbat Memories for our New Siddur books! | | | | |
We’re excited to share that Beber Camp is creating a new Friday Night Siddur, and we’d love to include voices from our alumni community.
We’re inviting alumni to share:
- A favourite Shabbat memory from your time at Beber
- A Shabbat practice, song, or ritual that stayed with you after camp and continues to shape how you celebrate today
Your reflections may be included in the Siddur to help connect today’s campers to the generations who came before them. Please share your memories by February 27.
| | Simcha Corner Submissions | |
We’re excited to launch our new Simcha Corner, where Beber Alumni can share life updates with our global community via newsletters and social media.
This can include:
- Engagements or Marriages
- Baby Births
- New jobs, Promotions, or Career moves
- Relocating around the Country or World
- Volunteering or Community Projects
- and, any other exciting milestones or life updates from our Alumni!

You can also use this as a call for Beber Alumni support, we’re happy to connect you with the community!
Our goal is to strengthen connections across the Beber alumni network, celebrating life’s moments together.
| | Honoring Len Keilin at 80 | |
As Len Keilin prepares to celebrate his 80th birthday (April 23rd), we pause to honor a man whose leadership helped shape Beber Camp during some of its most formative years.
As we celebrate Len’s 80th birthday, we invite our community to honor him in a lasting way. Donations made in Len Keilin’s honor will support the construction of Beber Camp’s new pickleball courts, spaces that will bring campers together, build community, and create joy for years to come.
Happy 80th Birthday, Len. Thank you for planting seeds that continue to grow.
| | Introducing the Beber Camp Leadership Internship Progam | | |
We’re excited to launch our new internship designed to bridge the gap between camp and career, giving emerging professionals meaningful, hands-on experience within a mission-driven organization.
As part of the program, we’re seeking mentors who are passionate about developing the next generation of Jewish leaders. If you’re interested in supporting interns through guidance, coaching, and professional insight, we’d love to hear from you!
Furthermore, we are also still recruiting for a Development and Alumni Engagement Intern as part of this program. If you know someone who may be interested, please get them to email Michael Wax at michael@bebercamp.com.
| | Does your employer offer company matching? | |
Many companies nowadays offer employees the opportunity to double, or even triple, their donations to nonprofit organizations through matching gift programs. This means your generosity to Beber Camp could go even further at no additional cost to you.
Be sure to speak with your HR department or check your company’s benefits portal to learn whether your employer offers a matching gift program and how you can take advantage of it to increase the impact of your gift to Beber.
