AND, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wife of 48 YEARS!! God BLESS and help her!!!???

At 4 AM this morning I had “had enough!” I had been up all night wrestling with a sleepless brain injured child who REFUSED to sleep-WHY, I have no idea??
I was truly on my LAST NERVE and as much as I hated to wake my poor, TIRED wife up, I had to....................
Ya see, I know my wife is a M-O-T-H-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife had no choice!! Did I tell you she is a M-O-T-H-E-R!!
When EVERYONE-especially men-flee the scene, run and hide, a MOTHER will ALWAYS still STAND “by the Cross of Jesus!!!”
Where were Jesus' “faithful” MEN followers???????????????????? SMILE!!
We know where they were-they were hiding in fear of their lives!!!
A TRUE mother cannot hide. She, and she too often alone, has to stay and endure.
The man “has” to continue to work HIS job but the MOTHER is the one who risks her job and career to stay home with the sick one.
The MOTHER is the one who carries the baby in her body and suffers the PAIN of child birth..........................................
How well do I remember when little Amanda first got injured. It was my WIFE and her MOTHER who spent almost an entire year-refusing to leave her baby-as she spent the long days and hours at Shepherd Hospital.
She only returned home one time in that period and that to try to celebrate MOTHERS DAY with her other babies. That lasted one night-then back to the hospital!!!!!!!!
I know many of you MOTHERS “feel me” today.
YOU are and were the ones up last night-WITHOUT COMPLAINT OR NEED OF APPLAUSE-with a sick one!!!
YOU are the one that cooked all day until exhausted and were too tired to eat afterwards.
YOU are and were the one to clean up the mess while the rest of the family AND Church “fellow shipped!!”
It has been too many years to remember much about my own dear mother!! Thank God I have had the luxury of a surrogate mother all these years-LELIA WILLIAMS.
In a little while my oldest son will arrive with Bar-B-Que in hand and pay his respects.
Me??? I am gonna go in the house and try to watch a Hall Mark movie with little Amanda-hope and PRAY she has a better day and she sleeps tonight.
There is no gift I can give my wife. She does not eat and can never leave her baby.
A MOTHER needs nothing else but to:

“HOW SWEET TO HOLD A NEW BORN BABY
AND FEEL THE LOVE AND WARMTH THEY BRING.
BUT GREATER STILL-THAT CALM ASSURANCE
THIS CHILD CAN FACE TOMORROW JUST BECAUSE HE LIVES!!!!!!!
