Thanks to YOU … Last year 426 married couples just in our own Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana volunteered to mentor 426 engaged couples.* This gift of time and love equals an amazing total of 7,029 hours volunteered to strengthen local marriages! 68% of Catholic engaged couples in our diocese completed the Witness to Love Marriage program in 2021!
Your continued support is important. Witness to Love will increase services to our local church parishes, as well as parishes in other states that offer Witness to Love by:
- Coaching and forming the incredible mentor couples.
- Helping young couples build a stronger foundation that can support the next generation of marriages and families in our community.
- Offering local retreats and small group leader formation for couples who are ready to serve their communities.
*5,000+ couples were directly impacted by WTL nationally in 2021.
For the past ten years you and so many others have walked beside us as Witness to Love has succeeded in firmly rooting engaged couples and their mentors in their church communities. These couples are the key to transforming the next generation of Catholic families in parishes across the United States.
