Invest. Build. Connect.
We steward and invest that precious 1.6% of all giving to empower Maine women and girls.

We invest meaningfully and swiftly.
Our Swift Grants Program invests in the leadership of women and girls from marginalized communities who are least likely to benefit from all other giving.

Because of your generous donations, we recently awarded:

  • $1,500 to Gedakina to provide a series of self-defense classes for Native women, girls and two spirit people in their communities because more than 4 in 5 American Indian and Alaskan Native women have experienced violence and more than 1 in 2 has experienced sexual violence.

  • $1,500 to Community Change Inc. to support a one day symposium on Saturday, September 14 in Biddeford designed to deepen anti-racism organizing in predominantly white communities that over 200 people attended.
