With your support in FY2022, our program served 728 children through the work of 303 active CASA volunteers, and we saw 214 child case closures! That is no small feat, and we truly couldn't have done it without your support.
No child deserves to face the heartbreak of being separated from their family and the uncertainty of foster care alone. With your help, 728 children didn't need to, because they had a caring advocate by their side. They had a CASA!
Our CASAs advocated for these children in a variety of ways: they advocated for them to receive things like needed therapy services, medical treatments, and in-school support. They built strong relationships with their CASA children and their families: serving as their support system. They watched for any signs of danger or re-abuse and advocated for their safety and well-being, and our advocate managers were able to supervise and support them through it all!
Maybe you're a CASA volunteer, a supporter, or the friend or family member of someone at CASA. Maybe you opened your heart to the needs of our children, maybe you spread the word about CASA to others: helping us recruit more volunteers and garner more support, or maybe you engaged with us on social media. No matter which way you helped, you were in our corner, and our program is stronger and better equipped to carry out its mission because of you. Thank you!
